Medical learning
Medical students, residents and fellows can access learning opportunities at BCMHSUS lasting from a week to several months. We also offer residencies and periodic fellowship opportunities to qualified applicants in a variety of medical specialties.
More information on residency opportunities can be found under student placement opportunities. Medical residency opportunities are coordinated through the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia.

For teams and individuals
BCMHSUS is committed to building capacity for teams and individuals providing concurrent disorders care. We do this through hosting:
- Self-directed learning opportunities through our Centre for Learning
- An annual concurrent disorders conference
- A provincial mental health and substance use network
