Community partners are people who want a connection with the BCMHSUS research community. They can be staff, clinicians, administrators, volunteers, patients with lived or living experience, and families.
Community partners:
- Receive the BCMHSUS Research Institute newsletter
- May attend organized research activities, such as BCMHSUS Research Days
Apply for community partner membership
Apply for research operational approval
You must apply to the BCMHSUS Research Committee to:
- Conduct research at our clinical sites
- Recruit patients, clients, physicians and/or staff members to participate in research
- Access data, including electronic or paper-based records or administrative data extracts
We will review applications as we receive them, and respond to investigators as quickly as possible. You must have ethics approval from your affiliated university before we will review your application.

Summer research studentships
Studentships include co-op student placements, practicum placements and other supervised summer student research projects.
