This conference is dedicated to advancing knowledge and building capacity among mental health and substance use professionals who treat people with complex concurrent disorders. "Concurrent disorder" describes when a person has both a mental illness and a substance use problem.

The 5th Annual B.C. Concurrent Disorders Conference returns on April 10, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PDT.

This year’s conference, Breaking Barriers in Concurrent Disorders Care: A Transdiagnostic Innovation for Complex Needs, features speakers from across Canada, Asia, and Europe with a shared passion for addressing the unique needs of this vulnerable population.

2024 B.C. Concurrent Disorders Conference
Last year's conference on March 28, 2024 attracted 1,200 attendees from across British Columbia, Canada, and the world, including Argentina, England, India, and Morocco.
